Best Camisole Sewing Patterns for Large Busts (Multiple Cup Sizes)

One would think that camisoles make for a quick sewing projects but if you have a large bust, this might not be the case. Many of us need camisole straps that will hide our bra and having to do an FBA can sometimes just take the fun out of things. Today I am sharing a list of camisole sewing patterns designed with multiple cup options to give you a better chance of getting the perfect fit.

Most sewing patterns are designed for a B cup, that is, a 2 inch difference between the high and full bust. Many of the cami sewing patterns in this round up have a full size range in C, D, DD cup sizes, take your pick and all the best.

Camisole patterns with multiple cup sizes for the entire size range

The patterns below include multiple cup size options for every single size.

Crystal Cove Cami by Itch to Stitch

I’ll start the pattern round up with my TNT camisole pattern by Itch to Stitch, the Crystal Cove Cami. I sewed this camisole without any modifications and it fit beautifully (I’m a DD cup); I have since made several versions of it. It has an excellent size range in multiple cup sizes. Below is the bust size range (12 sizes):

A Cup: 30⅛” – 45¼” (76.5 – 115 cm)
B Cup: 31⅛” – 46¼” (79 – 117.5 cm)
C Cup: 32⅛” – 47¼” (81.5 – 120 cm)
D Cup: 33⅛” – 48¼” (84 – 122.5 cm)
DD Cup: 34⅛” – 49¼” (86.5 – 125 cm)

Miri Tank by Sew DIY

The Miri Tank is another great option featuring two views: one with a round neckline and the other with a V-neck and angled armholes. This pattern comes in an extensive size range with multiple cup sizes. Full bust size range, 0–32:

A/B Cup: 30.5″ – 56.5″
C/D Cup: 32.5″ – 58.5″
E/F Cup: 34.5″ – 60.5″

Remi Cami Top by Designer Stitch

The Remi Cami is such a fun spin on the traditional camisole. In this pattern the straps are attached through grommets and the back features a half circle. This is actually a top and slip dress combination with the camisole option reaching the high thigh; it can obviously be shortened to your liking.

Avola Top by Cashmerette

Cashmerette is one of my go-to indie pattern companies for tops and dresses as they almost always fit me without modifications. The Avola top comes in a slip dress variation. In order to get this pattern you would have to join Cashmerette’s Club. If that isn’t an option for you right now, you could also keep an eye out for the Club’s pattern of the month and subscribe for a single month (this is what I do).

Cashmerette does not number their cup according to sewing cup sizes but bra cups. Full bust size Range 0-16 :

C/D Cup: 33″ – 44″
E/F Cup: 34″ – 45″
G/H Cup: 35″ – 46″

Size range 12-32:

C/D Cup: 40″ – 60″
E/F Cup: 41″ – 61″
G/H Cup: 42″ – 62″

Raven Cami by Designer Stitch

Designer Stitch comes in clutch with another camisole sewing pattern. This Raven cami is more of a traditional camisole but offers a number of views so you can get a lot of use out of the pattern. The best part about this is that it’s suitable for the daytime as well as sleepwear.

Camisole patterns with large cup sizes for curvy size range

Though the following patterns only include a larger cup size for only one of the company’s size ranges, they are worth mentioning.

This is such a thoughtfully designed camisole pattern. It is cut on the bias and includes beautiful lace trim. Grab the Savannah tank here. Full bust size range:
